The STORZ with POLY Material Float Dock® Strainer by Fol-Da-Tank (MPN: FGFDSS) is a versatile and highly efficient drafting solution for firefighting operations. Designed for use with Fol-Da-Tank® systems, the Float Dock® enables firefighters to draft water from ponds, lakes, rivers, or streams—whether shallow or deep—without risking pump damage from debris.

By operating below floating scum and above bottom sediment, the strainer helps prevent clogging and reduces wear on impellers, bearings, and packing. Its self-leveling design prevents whirlpooling and suction loss, ensuring smooth and reliable water flow.

Equipped with a STORZ connection and built with a polyethylene molded float plus rugged Al-mag castings, this unit combines durability with ease of use. The integrated carry handle doubles as a tie-off or retrieval point. Detach the strainer to use it as a box strainer, or add an optional riser for low-level drafting flexibility. Fully guaranteed and NFPA 1142 compliant, the STORZ Float Dock® Strainer is an essential firefighting tool.
