Newberry AST Spill Container - 3.5 Gallon with Screen (SKU: ASC23050GALMWS)

Description

This is the same 3.5 gallon tank-top spill container as the standard model, built on the same 14-gauge spun steel bowl with a padlockable hinged cover and a 2 inch NPT male centered connection, but supplied with a removable screen fitted in the bowl. The screen turns the container from a passive drip catcher into a pour-in used-oil collection point, straining out rags, filters, chips and other debris before the oil enters the tank. Newberry supplies these as Morrison Bros. FIG 517WO AST spill containers. Note that the screened version is excluded from the UL 2583 listing that covers the rest of the FIG 517 family; it retains Florida DEP approval EQ-345.
