Description

This dust cap fits over a cam-and-groove male adaptor when no hose is connected, keeping dirt, rain and insects out of the fuel line and out of the coupling's sealing groove. It is the matching 1-1/2 inch aluminum partner to the Part F male adaptor. Note that a dust cap goes over a male adaptor, while a dust plug goes into a female coupler - this is the cap. Newberry supplies these as Morrison Bros. FIG 800DC cam-and-groove fittings. A dust cap is a closure, not a pressure part, and should not be used in a pressurised application.
