Description

This 2-inch by 6-foot extruded aluminum drop tube hangs from the fill riser down toward the tank bottom so product is delivered below the liquid surface. Submerged filling prevents free fall of the product, which reduces liquid agitation, static generation and vapor release during delivery. The tube's flange fits between the tight-fill adaptor and the riser pipe. A drop tube is also required for a 9095-series overfill prevention valve to function. Newberry supplies this as the Morrison Bros. FIG 419. Tanks 96 inches or taller need two tubes plus an extender.
