Description

This 2-inch atmospheric updraft vent installs on top of a storage tank's vent pipe and provides the normal (day-to-day) venting a tank needs as it breathes during filling and dispensing. It directs vapors outward and upward in accordance with NFPA 30, while a rain cap and internal drain channels shed water away from the airway and a 40-mesh stainless steel screen keeps debris and insects out of the vent line. Because it is an open atmospheric vent rather than a pressure-vacuum vent, it is used on non-pressurized products such as diesel and fuel oil. Newberry supplies this vent as the Morrison Bros.
