Description

This 10-inch emergency vent kit provides fire-exposure pressure relief on large-diameter above-ground storage tanks where the required emergency venting capacity exceeds what an 8-inch vent can deliver. At 10 inches the vent is supplied as a flanged, bolt-on assembly rather than a threaded vent, so it bolts straight to the tank's flanged emergency vent nozzle and no pipe nipple is needed. Like any emergency vent it is used in addition to the tank's normal atmospheric or pressure-vacuum vent.
