Description

This 2-inch pressure-vacuum vent installs on top of the tank's vent pipe and lets the tank breathe during filling and dispensing, then seals when pressure equalizes so vapor is held in the tank. That vapor conservation is why a P/V vent, rather than an open atmospheric vent, is the correct choice for gasoline. Vapors discharge up and outward per NFPA 30, and a 40-mesh stainless steel screen with an internal water drain protects the airway. Newberry supplies this vent as the Morrison Bros. FIG 749, which the manufacturer restricts to motor fueling and low-capacity flow.
