Newberry 2" Flip Top Fill Cap (SKU: FC2MFT)

Description

This 2-inch flip-top fill cap is a hinged, male-threaded aluminum cap for the fill point of an above-ground storage tank, used where a tight-fill dry-break connection is not required. It threads into a tank bung or onto a fill riser and swings open on a hinge for gravity or nozzle filling. A positive stop keeps the open cover from striking the tank shell, the cap is drilled for a padlock so the fill point can be secured, and it provides integrated venting when closed. Newberry supplies this cap as the Morrison Bros. FIG 179M.
