The ALUMINUM Material Float Dock® Strainer by Fol-Da-Tank (MPN: FGFDSA) is a rugged, high-performance water drafting solution engineered for demanding firefighting applications. Designed to maximize flow while protecting pumps, the Float Dock® allows firefighters to draft water from ponds, lakes, rivers, or streams—both shallow and deep—using a Fol-Da-Tank®.

By positioning the intake below floating debris and above sand or silt, this strainer prevents clogging and reduces wear on impellers, bearings, and packing. Its self-leveling construction eliminates whirlpooling and suction loss for consistent, uninterrupted water supply.

The aluminum construction offers exceptional durability and strength while maintaining a manageable weight. With Al-mag castings proven to be the toughest in the industry and 20–30% more open intake area than conventional strainers, this unit ensures efficient performance in the field. Detach the strainer to use it separately as a box strainer, or add an optional riser for low-level drafting capability.
