Description

The NOMAD Pwr-Flo NPF15 (model 15-1269) is a 1/2" (13 mm) polypropylene, Santoprene-fitted air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pump that moves up to 14.8 gpm (56 lpm), runs on up to 125 psig (8.6 bar) of compressed air and passes solids up to 1/16" (1.6 mm). This bolted, NPT-ported standard build is a Pwr-Flo pump built for indoor plant service on clean, filtered air, with an anti-stall ASD air valve for on/off filling and batching.

Polypropylene wetted parts give a corrosion-resistant, non-metallic pump that is commonly chosen for many acids, caustics, water-treatment and wastewater chemicals; polypropylene is generally not used for most solvents and fuels. Santoprene is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) with good flex life and abrasion resistance, commonly used with water, mild acids and caustics. Always confirm chemical compatibility with your fluid before ordering - Tank Supply Direct can check it for you.

Key Features
  • Asymmetrical spool design (ASD) air valve
  • Anti-stall design for reliable on/off filling and batching
  • Air-efficient operation on clean, filtered air
  • Polypropylene wetted parts, Santoprene diaphragms - standard NOMAD build 15-1269
  • Bolted construction - fastened manifolds for a positive seal on leak-sensitive fluids
  • Air-operated, no electric motor - flow adjusts with the air supply; no motor or controls at the pump

Applications

NOMAD lists these industries for this pump: Automotive, Ceramics, Chemical, electronics/semiconductor, Food/Beverage, Mining/Construction, Petroleum, Pharmaceutical, Wastewater.

Pwr-Flo or Trans-Flo? NOMAD positions Pwr-Flo for indoor plant and factory service on clean, filtered air. Its ASD air valve is the more air-efficient design and gives reliable on/off starts for filling and batching.

Common Questions

How many gallons per minute does the NOMAD NPF15 pump?
The NOMAD NPF15 is rated up to 14.8 gpm (56 lpm) at a maximum 125 psig (8.6 bar) air supply. Actual flow drops with discharge pressure, suction lift and fluid viscosity - use the NOMAD performance curve in the product images to size it for your duty point.

What does "Santoprene-fitted" mean, and when should I choose a different material?
The diaphragms and check balls are Santoprene. Santoprene is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) with good flex life and abrasion resistance, commonly used with water, mild acids and caustics. Other elastomers offered for this pump include Hytrel, Viton.

What air supply does it need?
Connect clean, dry compressed air to the 1/4" (6 mm) air inlet; do not exceed 125 psig (8.6 bar). Flow and discharge pressure rise and fall with the air pressure you supply.

Is this pump available in other configurations?
Yes. NOMAD also builds this model with other port connections (BSP). This listing is the standard build; call or email Tank Supply Direct for a quote on any other configuration.

How fast does it ship?
The standard build ships from Nevada in approximately 4 days. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
