Description

The Float Dock® Strainer is a vital piece of equipment for rural and municipal firefighting operations, allowing water to be drafted from farm ponds, streams, and portable tanks in both shallow and deep conditions. Its innovative floating design ensures drafting occurs below the surface layer of scum and debris and above the sand and sediment at the bottom.

This protects your pump components by reducing wear on impellers, packing, and bearings, while ensuring continuous, efficient water flow. The self-leveling polyethylene float prevents whirlpooling without the need for a vortex plate, ensuring steady suction at all times.

Built with Al-Mag castings and a polyethylene molded float with carry handle, the Float Dock® is rugged, portable, and easy to retrieve. It can also be detached and used as a Box Strainer, or paired with an optional riser to function as a Low-Level Strainer. Fully NFPA 1142 compliant and backed by Fol-Da-Tank’s full guarantee.
